Cabinet Modification

CliqStudios offers a reduced-depth cabinet modification. This flexibility allows you to solve a host of kitchen design problems. Work around a projection, add visual interest to a long bank of cabinets, increase width of a traffic path, or create a furniture-look feature. kitchen cabinets up to 36 inches wide can be reduced: wall cabinets to a minimum of 5 inches, vanity and base cabinets to a minimum of 6 inches, base-end angle cabinets to a minimum of 18 inches, and tall pantry cabinets to a minimum of 6 inches.  21-inch and 24-inch deep base and vanity cabinets will have operating drawers. Other reduced-depth cabinets will have false drawer fronts. Only 24-inch deep cabinets will have operating pull-out shelves. Peninsula cabinets less than 11 inches deep will require a toe kick built up in field installation. CliqStudios also offers an increased-depth cabinet modification.

Reduced Depth Modification Features

  • Available in cabinets up to 36″ wide
  • Only 21″ and 24″ cabinets will have working drawers; others will have false drawer fronts
  • Peninsula cabinets less than 11″ deep will be 30″ tall, will not have built-up toekick, and will require a toekick build up with field installation
  • There is a tipping hazard until reduced-depth base, vanity and tall pantry cabinets are installed
  • Minimum cabinet depths
    • Wall cabinet – 5″
    • Base and vanity cabinets – 6″
    • Tall pantry cabinets – 6″
    • Base-end angle cabinet – 18″
