Whether it’s a small or large-scale luxurious remodel, CliqStudios can handle it. Elisa of Elisa Gangone Interiors came to the table with a big project and a tight timeline. Her clients had very specific needs for their vacation home to accommodate a large, growing family. Because of this, Elisa’s contractor, Edward Flynn, recommended CliqStudios. We asked Elisa about her stunning project to find out more. Here’s what she said:

Q: How did you get started with CliqStudios?

A: “We originally had worked through the kitchen design based on the client’s needs for her family’s vacation home. She had specifics on appliances needed, and how she functionally wanted to use the kitchen. Due to construction schedules, our contractor put us in touch with CliqStudios and Robyn Belongie helped pull together the kitchen based on our original vision, and was able to meet the aggressive deadline we were working with.”

Q: What was the overall dream your client had for this space?

A: “They wanted a large kitchen to entertain their family and friends. They have four children who now also have children, so it was important to have a space their family could grow in. They wanted a functional space, but something that fit right in with the overall design of the house. In terms of color, the project location is in Hilton Head Island, so they wanted the house to feel coastal, and therefore we kept the palette, light, bright, and natural with some pops of color throughout. We needed cabinetry for one kitchen, one wet bar, two living room areas, and six-bathroom vanities.”

Q: What was your design experience like with CliqStudios?

A: “It was seamless from the design end. Robyn Belongie was great to work with, very knowledgeable, responded quickly, and helped us figure out all the details within our schedule. I believe a few things came up during installation, but she quickly resolved any missing pieces, and assisted the contractor in ordering additional pieces needed to complete the project.”

Q: How did CliqStudios help you accomplish your project?

A: “The biggest concerns were budget and schedule, and both were met.”

Q: Were there any difficult aspects of your project that your CliqStudios designer helped solve?

A: “We did need some additional guidance for the living areas where we flanked the fireplaces with two built in bookcases. Robyn Belongie helped us figure out the best way to achieve this through the options available.”

Overall, this project turned out beautifully. The kitchen remodel was completed in Newport Mist and Slate via the Signature Plus line, and the living room built-ins are Craftsman line’s Harrison door in Eagle Rock. For a designer look, Robyn and Elisa used stacked glass white shaker kitchen cabinets, a sloped wood hood with strapping and a massive kitchen island perfect for cooking and entertaining.

Elisa finished by saying, “As the designer, it was truly amazing to bring my client’s vision to life and provide them with a home they love to spend time in and make memories with their family and friends. It took some time to get everything designed, selected, ordered, and figured out but the house turned out exactly how they wanted it to be. It’s welcoming, warm and coastal but still feels classic and timeless.
