Your bathroom layout will be based on storage needs, function, and who’s using it. CliqStudios is equipped to design your space with either a single or double-bathroom vanity. There are even styles particularly designed to promote functionality in a half-bath. If you have use for one, consider adding a built-in makeup desk to the bathroom vanity. Keep in mind proper lighting will be needed with this choice. Lack of proper lighting creates shadows that can distort the color of makeup, etc. Overall, CliqStudios has a terrific variety of finishes, door styles, and configurations available to suit your style.

Dark Shaker Bathroom CabinetsDark Shaker Bathroom Cabinets

Dark Shaker Bathroom Cabinets

One of CliqStudios’ most stunning bathroom cabinet styles is the Dark Shaker. The deep brown color and modern design creates a sophisticated bathroom vanity. Paired with brushed nickel cabinet hardware, these vanity cabinets look incredibly sleek and polished. To ensure that this space doesn’t appear dark, brighten it up with a lighter-colored countertop. For example, a white marble countertop looks fabulous alongside this richly colored bathroom vanity.

Medium Gray Decorative Bathroom Cabinets

A slightly softer look can be created with the Medium Gray Decorative cabinets. This light gray shade paired with white countertops once again elevates the space drawing the eye to the contrasting bathroom vanity. This style and color selection can lean masculine or more feminine depending on your material choices. With gray being so versatile, it will coordinate with any style of cabinet hardware as well. Mix and match to create a vanity cabinet look that is all your own.

Brentwood Bathroom Cabinets

Are you more interested in classic white cabinetry? Then a bathroom vanity in Brentwood cabinets is a terrific option. Paired with a beautiful countertop and dazzling cabinet hardware, such as brass or brushed nickel will transform your bathroom into a stunning work of art. White cabinets, both in the bathroom and the kitchen, are classics for a reason. Painted white cabinetry will never go out of style. They will always look fresh and bright, which is appealing in any space.

What Are the Different Types of Bathroom Vanities?

There are two main types of bathroom vanities, a single or double sink vanity. Both are available in RTA cabinets and custom cabinets. Typically, large bathrooms like master suites contain double vanities. Smaller bathrooms like half baths usually contain single vanities due to the lack of space. As you decide on the type of vanity you need, make sure to consider things like materials, dimensions, budget, color scheme, and installation. Another key aspect is the interior design style. Think about whether you will continue the established style throughout the rest of the home, or just choose a style that you’re drawn to.

Free-Standing Vanities

A free-standing bathroom vanity, as the name suggests, is typically furniture-like in style and has no surrounding walls. This style vanity is still attached to the back wall and usually on four legs.

Floating Vanities

Floating bathroom vanities have no toe kick or base touching the floor and are installed by mounting the cabinet to the wall. In direct contrast to the free-standing version, this creates the illusion that the vanity is floating above the bathroom floor, providing a modern look.

Vessel Vanities

Bathroom vanities with vessel sinks create an elegant look. This type of vanity is unique because the sink itself is not installed within the countertop. Instead, the sinks sit on top of the countertop making a statement.

Undermount Sink Vanities

Undermount sink vanities are the most common style you’ll see. This gives the vanity a sleek finish since the sink is below the countertop. Whether you prefer concrete or quartz countertops, our bathroom vanities will accommodate any preference.

What Is the Best Material for Bathroom Vanity Cabinets?

High-quality vanity materials are important to anyone investing in their home. Better materials ensure the vanity will last for years to come long after installation is complete. All CliqStudios bathroom vanities are crafted using high-quality materials such as hardwood and plywood. Weaker materials equal a low-quality product, resulting in more money spent when it needs to be replaced.

What Is the Most Popular Bathroom Vanity Size?

The most purchased bathroom vanity is a single sink. Standard bathroom vanity sizes include 24, 30, 36, 42, 60, and 72 inches. This massive size range offers a lot of storage space and design flexibility. You have the ability to store anything from makeup in large drawers to your own pull-out linen closet.

How Much Should a Bathroom Vanity Cost?

Bathroom vanity price ranges will vary based on a few things. Style, design, size, finish, and the materials used will all affect the cost of the overall vanity. For example, if you select a higher-end marble countertop, the price will be higher than a standard quartz top. The same can be said for any style of vanity and sink. Every unique combination of these characteristics will have its own unique price. The most common price range for vanity cabinets is from $300 - $3,800, however, it can be higher depending on custom requests. Our CliqStudios designers are available to give you a better idea of what your specific custom vanity costs once they have your measurements and preferences.

What Is the Most Popular Bathroom Vanity Color?

White and gray are the most popular bathroom vanity colors by far. Neutral tones are the way to go when it comes to bathroom vanities. This is largely due to the fact that these colors are able to coordinate with several styles and themes making them timeless. White and gray are two of the most sought-after colors for bathroom vanities because of this reason. From Farmhouse to Eclectic and Modern, these shades are so versatile they truly fit any interior design style preference. Other current and trendy vanity colors are navy, white oak finishes, green, and taupe.

How Much Does It Cost to Install a Bathroom Vanity?

Like the overall construction of a bathroom vanity, installation costs will vary. Common price ranges for vanity installation are from $558 – $830 per vanity. This pricing is subject to your installer and what they estimate the project will cost as far as time and materials to install. Make sure to shop around for a contractor that is licensed, bonded, and insured to stay away from any legal risks, and check their customer reviews before moving forward.

How do you paint a bathroom vanity?

Refinishing a bathroom vanity is a large project. The most important step in this project is doing quality research. For the most durable finish, it’s crucial to complete every step carefully. Overall, after taping and removing doors and hardware, start by roughing up the old finish with a medium grit sandpaper.

Make sure every surface has been touched by the sandpaper, then use a fine grit sandpaper to smooth the surface for paint. Once that’s complete, use a tack cloth to remove all the sawdust. Next, apply a mold-resistant primer that covers any old colors, water damage, or mold like Kilz.

This will create a seal and protect your wood cabinetry from humidity and water leaks moving forward. Finally, paint the vanity cabinet with either acrylic or lacquer depending on the type of primer that was used.

How tall is a bathroom vanity?

The average bathroom vanity is approximately 30 – 36 inches tall including the countertops. Over time, more people have come to realize that 36” tall vanity cabinets are the more ergonomic choice. The taller height means less straining to bend over while brushing your teeth or washing your face, saving you from aches and pains. The specific height of the vanity will depend on your preferences and the measurements provided for the bathroom. Fill out our free design form to contact a CliqStudios designer for assistance.

How do you replace a bathroom vanity?

Before getting started, decide if you plan to donate or save the existing vanity. If you’re saving the vanity, after disconnecting the plumbing, use a box cutter to gently cut through any silicone or caulking along the countertop edges near walls.

Then, remove any screws inside the cabinet that attach to the walls and floor. Use a pry bar between the vanity and walls to separate them. If necessary, try rocking the piece back and forth until it comes loose. If you don’t plan on saving the vanity, you don’t need to be as gentle throughout the removal process.
