Inviting Designer Shaker Kitchen With Vibrant & Casual Feel

Taking a home from builder-basic to beautiful is no easy task. Before, the kitchen had an awkward layout with arched golden oak cabinets. Now this brand-new kitchen remodel has transformed the space. The new kitchen is designed in a gorgeous modern farmhouse style with transitional touches.  

Interior Designer, Jeanna Letzring, of Pinnacle Interior Designs created this dream kitchen and dining room for her clients. Signature line's Rockford shaker door style was used for a modern look. Cloud White and Classic Gray finishes were the perfect pairings to create this bright and airy space.

Jeanna’s clients had a large wish list for their remodel. Some top changes included white cabinets, an original backsplash and kitchen island, a farmhouse sink, and a separate buffet. With such a large wish list there were some difficulties that Jeanna shared. 

“First, we had to make sure we could remove a bunch of walls so that we could create an open concept in Modern Farmhouse style with a little dose of Transitional. They did not want their range taking away from perimeter counter space, so we put it with downdraft in the island. This also meant we had to find a home for the microwave, which we put in upper cabinetry. A suggestion from the CliqStudios designer, since they have two very little kids who would have too much access in a base cabinetry location.”
