Open Kitchen Design with Medium Gray Cabinets

“We built our personal house four years ago and we found that we loved the new home construction process,” CliqStudios Pro Partner Sarah G. says. “So we started our own business building and selling houses about three years ago.”

Entering the home building industry was a natural transition for Sarah and her husband.

“I have a degree in interior design and my husband has worked in the construction field as a sub-contractor for 13 years,” Sarah explains. “So we have a bit of a background in the construction business. I draw out the floor plans and design everything and he is the project manager.”

Although Sarah enjoys designing the whole home, she is partial to one space.

“Kitchens are my favorite room to design,” Sarah shares.

“Gray and white is fresh looking and very versatile,” designer Myisha says. “You could use that palette in styles from industrial to farmhouse to modern. It translates really well.”

Sarah agrees, “I chose the Medium Gray painted cabinet for this project because it spoke casual and modern to me. The gray also creates a neutral palette that works really well with wood tones.”
