Our 1930 Bungalow is a labor of love. In this DIY renovation, we reduced the space to studs and transformed our crowded galley kitchen into an open space all could enjoy. Removing a wall (foreground of “Before” photo) created cohesive flow through the house and allotted us over 60% more cabinet space. We chose Shaker cabinets with quartz countertops. The design provides modern functionality that is consistent with the home’s craftsman style. Both photos taken from approx. same location.
