Family DIY TV Kitchen Remodel With CliqStudios Pt. 1

Mike Sante of Family DIY TV is a popular Youtuber that shows homeowners across America how to fix, upgrade, and install their own home remodeling products. Recently, he's taken on his own kitchen and it’s no small feat.

You can watch as he meticulously walks through his whole project from delivery time and demolition to cabinet installation and more. Mike is the essence of a true DIYer taking everything step-by-step with a good attitude, hard work, and some humor. 

Mike partnered with CliqStudios designer, Lucas, to finish his kitchen remodel in Signature Plus Newport Lily and Chai. The massive 11’ island makes this kitchen a dream space to cook, bake, and entertain friends and family.

In the rest of his kitchen, Mike upgraded to a gas range making it his focal point on the main wall under a Chai-stained wood hood. And on the third wall next to the sliding glass door was more storage for fresh food, dry food, and other essentials. 

On delivery day, Mike and his family were prepared to receive the kitchen cabinets in their garage. They even had overflow locations in their house set aside for any cabinets and accessories that wouldn't fit in the garage.

After receiving the bill of lading from the delivery drivers and using his designer quote and floor plan, he quickly took inventory of the whole order. He commented, "Shout out to the delivery guys. The delivery guys were awesome". Every cabinet was gently placed in the garage and handled with care. 

As Mike unboxed a few cabinets, he shared how pleased he was with the packaging and beautiful cabinet construction. Once all parts and pieces were confirmed, he and his wife took them inside.

Mike recommended starting your kitchen remodel with one wall, bringing all those cabinets and pieces inside, and staging them in place for a dry fit. He also recommended having all other kitchen remodeling products picked out at the same time as cabinetry, so everything shows up within days of cabinet delivery. 

In the end, Mike talked about his experience working with CliqStudios. “That’s one thing about CliqStudios, these guys are awesome.
