We are excited to announce our latest door styles, Decorative. Our customers asked, and we listened! Decorative feature scalloped raised door panels and deep stepped-waterfall edges. The styles fill the gap between the crisp straight lines of modern cabinetry and more decorative traditional styles. I suggest the Decorative to clients looking for a raised-panel style with a traditional feel, but without the high prices charged at big box stores.

The Latest Features

The custom island above, features Decorative medium wood stain cabinets. The trimmed ogee molding in the toekick area creates a beautiful furniture feature. In addition to its elegance, the cabinets allow a transition between the white Shaker kitchen perimeter and the home’s living area.

The new styles feature gracefully scalloped raised-panel doors, deep stepped-waterfall edges on door and drawer-front frames, and your choice of slab drawer fronts (Decorative cabinets) or five-panel drawer fronts (Decorative cabinets). Stained-wood center panels are 5/8-inch thick solid hardwood. Furniture board makes up the painted center panels that resist hairline cracking of the painted finish. Also, both styles are available in a great selection of painted and stained finishes and with short lead times.

Versatile Styles

A fresh take on the timeless raised-panel door style, the Decorative cabinets can be dressed up (for a traditional effect) or down (for a transitional design). Either style is an excellent choice for a butler’s pantry, buffet or other furniture feature. We specifically intended the Decorative to work well with any of our crown moldings and other decorative elements. Furthermore, this allows us to create a cabinetry style that flows naturally into a home’s existing architectural design.

In the family room above, Decorative medium wood stain cabinets surround the fireplace. Decorative’s eased-waterfall profile, framing glass doors and slab-front drawers, adds a soft traditional touch to a transitional space.

The Decorative and Decorative are also full-overlay cabinet styles with hidden six-way adjustable nickel-plated steel hinges. Door frames are 3/4-inch thick solid hardwood with mortise-and-tenon joints and 2-5/8″ wide stiles and rails (wider than industry standard).
