White Shaker Cabinets in an Open Transitional Kitchen Design

Connecticut Home Construction Project by CliqStudios Pro Partner Todd Zitzkat

The photos below give you just a taste of the genius of developer Todd Zitzkat of Connecticut. Todd, who truly loves creating beautiful homes, takes on a limited number of projects, in which he relies on CliqStudios for kitchen design services and high-quality cabinetry.

In this spacious kitchen, Todd used painted white Shaker cabinets with traditional crown molding to complement, but not compete with, the home’s traditional style. Touches of black – the granite countertops, black wooden bar stools and cabinet hardware, add a bit of modern flare, creating a transitional design that also features industrial island pendant lights.

Broad hardwood plank flooring flows through the kitchen, dining room and family room, creating a seamless space that invites family and friends to gather.

The white Shaker and country combination is a favorite of Todd’s, as you can see if you peruse more photos of his work. Read more about Todd’s work here.
