Contemporary Gray Shaker Cabinets Transform 1980s Oak Kitchen
See the transformation below. The 1980s kitchen in this Fergus Falls, Minnesota home suffered from a decor hodge-podge. Faux mission oak cabinets framed a burnt orange range hood, black range, white refrigerator, gold laminate countertop and popcorn ceiling. Ouch!
Kitchen designer Andrew Howard helped the homeowners transform the space, creating a crisp, contemporary space with gray Shaker cabinets (CliqStudios Dayton Studio Gray), hardwood laminate flooring and bright, white walls and trim. Delightful herringbone gray and white backsplash and granite countertops complement the stainless appliances and gray cabinets. The over-sink light fixture, faucet and full-width bar pulls nail the design as industrial-luxe.More Before & After Photos
